Vitalis training desk

Fitness is one idea, repeated —add a little more than last week.

13 plans below, and 46 weeks of programming between them. None of it needs a gym, a coach, or a version of you who suddenly enjoys 6 a.m. It needs a few sessions a week and the patience to make each one slightly harder than the last.

The desk is racked by kit rather than by muscle group, because owning nothing is what actually stops people — not knowing which lift hits which muscle.

The hollow bars are deloads. Every fourth week comes down on purpose. It is not time off the plan — it is the part of the plan that lets the next three weeks go up.

Strength Training for Beginners: A 12-Week Full Body Workout Plan to Build Muscle

A progressive full body workout plan for beginners who want to build lean muscle at home or in the gym, with correct form cues, progressive overload targets and realistic rest days you can keep up with for life.

What it asks of your week

Three sessions, around 45 minutes each. Four days where the plan asks nothing of you at all.

Nothing but the floor

No kit, and no excuses about kit. Full-body strength, core work, morning mobility, and the joint-friendly route for anyone training around a knee that objects.

How this desk works

Every plan here names the sets, the reps and the point at which you add weight, because a workout you cannot repeat next week is not training — it is just a hard afternoon. Where a movement has a common way of going wrong, the guide says so and gives you the easier version to build from.

None of it is treatment. Sharp joint pain, a pain that wakes you at night, pregnancy, a recent operation or a heart condition all change the answer, and every guide says where to stop reading and book a physio or a GP instead.
